My name is Kevin and I’ve lived in the Netherlands for three years now. I currently operate a private consultancy firm with a friend and volunteer with Stichting Help Kobane, a non-profit established to assist in the reconstruction of the North Syrian city of Kobane. As a relative newcomer to the Netherlands, Montium has been a great way to get to know intelligent, socially-minded people. I have made close friends through Montium and it has made me feel more at home here. Having studied the Middle East and the ‘Kurdish Question’, Montium also allows me to pursue that interest further and engage new people and new topics.
As this year’s Director of the Symposium Commission, and with the support of the rest of the Board, I am striving to take Montium to the next level. The culmination of our lecture program this year will be a much larger event than Montium has organized in the past. As our planning progresses, you’ll learn more!
